In celebration of the vibrant cocktail scene in Singapore, this March, 1-Group will be bringing back their month-long Sip and Savour campaign where you’ll be invited to imbibe on a variety of cocktails made by a slate of guest and in-house bartenders. Aside from all the boozy fun, this weekend, Young Women’s Leadership Connection (YWLC) will also be holding its flagship event, titled Through Her Lens, that will be held on Saturday, 11 March. Gathering women from all walks of life, the event will feature panel discussions by speakers like Sher-li Torrey, founder and director of Mums@Work and Dawn Lim, executive director at DesignSingapore Council, where they will be sharing more about creating a future that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

Whisky is no longer a post-dinner drink. Rather than reaching for the red or bottle of sparkling wine, why not up the ante with a whisky pairing dinner at FIRE on 9 March – an Argentinian restaurant located at ION Sky, serving seasonal Japanese-Peruvian and Argentinian dishes.
Aside from its degustation menu, diners can pair their meal with guest shift and whisky cocktails by bar veterans Jane Kaew-yod and Sam Wong or opt for a bottle of Johnnie Walker Gold Label to enjoy while you bask in the phenomenal views of the city skyline.

If a fun and boozy brunch is what you’re looking for this weekend, then you’ll want to swing by Botanico this Saturday. The one-day brunch affair will feature a hearty five-course brunch menu where you’ll get to enjoy some mouthwatering Asian cuisines while imbibing in some delicious Hendrick’s gin cocktails. As part of the event, diners will also get the chance to get temporarily inked by Jagua Tattoo Artist, The Little Jotter, who will be mapping different hand-drawn designs using Jagua fruit-based ink that will last for two weeks.

Held on 11 March in partnership with Citi, the event gathers women, allies and advocates alike to deep dive into what it takes to “build a society where differences are valued and celebrated, in creating a future that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.” Speakers include Sher-li Torrey, founder and director of Mums@Work, Dawn Lim, executive director at DesignSingapore Council, and Rahayu Mahzam, senior parliamentary secretary at Ministry of Health and Ministry of Law.

Drop by STPI Creative Workshop & Gallery this weekend to catch leading Singapore artist Genevieve Chua’s solo exhibition before it closes on 19 March. Titled “grrrraaanularrrrrrr”, the exhibition showcases a texturally evocative new series created by Chua while she was in residence at STPI since 2021. In total, the exhibition consists of 46 pieces of artworks that span several bodies of work, including a series of shaped canvases, sandpaper pieces and cement constructions (evocatively titled Typestracts, Breeze Blocks and Pathways), as well as standalone pieces in two-and-a-half dimensions.

Haven’t got enough of Vincent van Gogh’s artwork from the Van Gogh exhibition? Fret not. At Anti:dote, you’ll find delightfully innovative culinary creations inspired by one of Van Gogh’s most notable works: Sunflowers, created in 1888. Reimagined by Executive Pastry Chef Yong Ming Choong and Senior Sous Chef Jacky Lai, the afternoon tea menu will see the famed masterpiece as food art on delectable treats in the form of sunflowers, which can be enjoyed with a specially-created cocktail and mocktail amid the chic surrounds of Anti:dote. Available from 3 March to 2 April 2023, guests can also look forward to dining in a picture-perfect setting, designed for them to feel as if they were part of Van Gogh’s painting. Think – a collection of sunflower-themed ornaments, assorted fresh sunflowers, and a framed replica of the masterpiece. What’s more, there will also be an interactive photo opportunity set up with props, inviting guests to capture the moment while they indulge in this artistic dining experience.
