With the highly anticipated sequel set to hit cinemas this December after 10 years, a magical Avatar experience is set to debut at Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay.

Here, guests will be treated to an immersive experience that will see the replication of the environments of Pandora – the fictional planet that serves as the main backdrop of Avatar. Of course, the experience will also include 5 unique interactive zones with stunning visuals including mysterious walkways, and mystical, and otherworldly creatures.

Paying tribute to one of the most successful and popular bands of all time, Candlelight concerts will be performign some of Coldplay’s most popular tunes this Friday at The Arts House. Here, you can expect classical renditions of some of your favourite songs from the band, including hits like ’Yellow’, ‘A Sky Full of Stars’ and ‘Paradise’. Great for date night, this experience will also be accompanied by the glow of hundreds of candles and it’s the perfect activity if you’re looking for something relaxing to end your day with.

Fans of the iconic Aperol Spritz and Campari can now toast to new beginnings at the new Aperol Spritz Garden located at Osteria BBR by Alain Ducasse. Located at the alfresco area of the restaurant, the indefinite pop-up boasts a menu that has been kept concise and easy for all manner of drinkers. Besides the classic Aperol Spritz, guests can also imbibe on other refreshing options which include a Campari Spritz variant, an Americano, or even opt for a Bianco Highball, if you prefer something that’s less boozy.

Embark on an immersive and experiential journey at the latest exhibition at ArtScience Museum. Titled ‘Future World: Where Art Meets Science’, the exhibition explores the world of art, science, magic and metaphor through a collection of digital interactive installations. Suitable for all ages, you can expect to see loads of digital interactive installations that even includes a segment where you can try your hands at sketching and projecting your drawings on the big screen – transforming your art into reality!

Comics fans and cosplayers rejoice! The annual Comic Con is back in Singapore this weekend for the first time in three years. In its 13th edition, the event will be held at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, where it’s expected to draw even bigger crowds not just from Singapore, but also from across the region. With more than 350 booths, spread across some 200,000 sq ft on two level, fans can buy original art, art prints and art books from professional artists such as Singapore’s Zu Orzu and Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, attend panel sessions and interviews – including a chat-and-draw with American comics artist Lee Bermejo, who is well-known for his unique renderings of DC Comics characters such as Batman and drop by the Learn To Play zones to try their hand at these geek-favourite tabletop games.
