To say that 2022 has been a rollercoaster ride of events is an understatement. Ever since the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, we saw the rise of more events in Singapore including more concerts, lots of themed pop-ups and the opening of more bars and restaurants – there’s always something exciting happening every week!
This weekend, to end the year on a high note, lots of places in Singapore will be hosting their own New Year’s Eve countdown. And if you’ve yet to sort out your NYE plans, well it’s high time to get yours sorted, stat.
From the long-awaited Star Island performance at The Float @ Marina Bay to beach parties at Siloso Beach, ahead, we’ve rounded up a few events that you can check out to ring in 2023.
Fireworks are a must at every countdown. Still, if you’re looking for something extra special, then you’ll definitely dig the immersive live entertainment lineup at Star Island. The event, held at The Float @ Marina Bay, will see an 80-minute array of sound and colours, alongside Star Island’s stunning drone ballet – a choreography of 400 flying devices – that will act in unison, as they deftly create Instagram-worthy images. Of course, there will also be a fireworks display at the end of the show, which is designed with Singapore in mind, with a red-to-white time gradation display.
Star Island is located at The Float @ Marina Bay, 20 Raffles Ave., Singapore 039805
