As part of the launch, expect dazzling pyrotechnic and projection mapping displays as the film’s star cast and filmmakers hit the red carpet.
On the same weekend, check out internationally renowned contemporary artist Edgar Plans’ NBA-inspired art as it arrives in Singapore for the first time. In partnership with BLAXK by ActionCity, the Game On Global Tour arrives in Singapore where you can expect to see Plans’ signature sculptures modelled after legendary NBA players as well as highly sought-after exclusive collectables — a visual treat for all contemporary art lovers and basketball fans in Singapore.

The time has finally come for the premiere of the highly anticipated film, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. This year, fans will be treated to a one-of-a-kind experience at Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay Sands where director Steven Caple Jr., producers Lorenzo Di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian, and cast members Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback and Tobe Nwigwe, are specially flying into town to celebrate the film premiere alongside media and content creators from around the world.
As part of the star-studded event, the ArtScience Museum will be lit up in a dazzling pyrotechnic and projection mapping display as the film’s star cast and filmmakers hit the red carpet, while the promenade will transform into a landing site for Mirage – the latest Autobot to make its Asian debut following the launch of the Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal statues at Gardens by the Bay. Be sure to capture photos of Mirage at the entrance of the ArtScience Museum during the event, as the 4.5-metre life-sized Mirage statue will only be in Singapore for three days from 26 to 28 May 2023.

Singapore International Festival of Arts (SIFA) 2023 is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever. Organised by Arts House Limited (AHL) and commissioned by the National Arts Council (NAC), this year’s festival will see 90 performances and activities, and feature over 200 prominent local and international artists across different artistic formats that will take place from 19 May to 4 June 2023.
Beginning from the entrance of Stamford Arts Centre, The School invites participants to don school uniforms and relive their school days as they take a walk down memory lane with a promenade-style participatory performance experience powered by a trio of local performance-practitioners, Jean Ng, Li Xie, and Joavien Ng. Audiences can journey through their nostalgia of being back in a school compound setting as they traverse the familiar yet unusual journey back to “school”.
Alternatively, you can also join the crowd at CÉ LA VI with Love Divine by Sukki (formerly Sukki Singapora) and Daniel Kok & Luke George as part of SIFA X. As part of the jam-packed evening, you can expect to see a display of burlesque, vaudeville, and rope performance-installation, with statements of care and social commentary through subjects as ‘High Net Worth individuals’ gradually bound and suspended against the backdrop of Singapore’s picturesque landscape.
