First established in 2014 as a humble wholesale bakery in San Francisco, Mr Holmes Bakehouse has made a name for itself for being the original cruffin makers. After making its first foray into Singapore last July, the brand has just expanded with a second branch located at MYP Centre, located in the heart of the CBD.
Open from Mondays to Fridays (from 8am to 6.30pm), the new store will offer a wide array of pastries including its seasonal cruffins and donuts, as well as an extensive selection of outlet-exclusive sandwiches and salads, including a collaboration bagel with Two Men Bagel House.
Other exclusive dishes that you can expect to try at the store include the Spam & Egg with Kimchi Croissant, Chicken Fajita, Egg Mayo & Candied Bacon, Roasted Veggie and Hummus, and Chicken Kale Caesar Salad.
Of course, you’ll definitely find the classic cruffins available in seasonal flavours and filling-stuffed brioche donuts, croissants, danishes, muffins, and cookies that are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

As part of its new vibe dining concept, Sushi Ichizuke will be launching a more relaxed iteration of the traditional omakase experience. Here, Chef Daisuke Suzuki who just joined Sushi Ichizuke this year, will take you on a gastronomic journey that’s sure to delight your tastebuds. Some of the dishes that you can expect to indulge in include the Kinmedai Sashimi, Steamed Abalone with Abalone Liver Sauce, and Grilled Nodoguro.
Another must-try would be Chef Suzuki’s Sushi Platter — which has been carefully curated and features some of the freshest catch including exquisite morsels of aged fish and seafood like Stripjack, Tuna, Fatty Tuna Belly, White Shrimp and Sea Urchin — that are seasoned and prepared to perfection.
To complete your meal, look for sake sommelier Genta Yamashita for some sake recommendations. In fact, over at Sushi Ichizuke, you’ll find a wide selection of sakes from renowned distilleries such as Suigei, Hakurakusei and Isojiman!

Whether you’re looking for places to pre-game before partying at Zouk or even a place to hang out with your friends at Clarke Quay, Here Kitty Kitty is the place to be. Unlike other bars, the 1950s Shinjuku-inspired speakeasy serves some of the finest cocktails with a Japanese twist that are professionally prepared by their own mixologist, Gary Mandobon.
Some of their signature tipples to try include the Geisha that’s made with Roku gin, yuzu, Cointreau and egg white; a reinterpretation of the classic gin and tonic cocktail called Foraged; and not to mention, the bar’s most popular cocktail, called Watermelon Sugar, that consist of watermelon cubes muddled with Don Julio Blanco Tequila and Cointreau, served in a glass rimmed with citrus salt.
Of course, if you’re looking for something to munch on, we would definitely recommend Smokin Ocean Jewels that’s served in a wooden box that opens with clouds of applewood smoke, revealing two uni and ikura tartlets that are absolutely mouth-watering.
Honestly, it’s a great place for date night or even if you’re celebrating a special occasion, be it with your friends or partner.
Here Kitty Kitty is located at 3E River Valley Road, #02-01, The Cannery, Clarke Quay, 179024.

Fellow fur parents will also get to enjoy delicious, healthy and wholesome oat bowls from OuiOats, or you can even opt to get boozy and enjoy some of The 1925’s iconic craft beers or Starter Culture’s tea-flavoured kombucha.
