Party all night long at Drip — Singapore's biggest underground club
custom

Haven’t you heard? A new underground club has just opened its doors this month, and word has it that the new space features a “swimming pool” of its own, a salt room and a statue of Albert Einstein himself. Yes, you read that right.

Located at the heart of Orchard, the club has two levels for you to explore, of which partygoers can choose to party and dance to EDM hits on the top floor or Hip-Hop music in the Salt Room.

What’s more, the space also makes for a great photo opportunity for you to take snaps for the ‘Gram, of which you’ll find loads of decor pieces and feature walls like a rainbow corridor within the club.

Drip is located at 100 Orchard Road, Singapore 238840

Indulge in a one-of-a-kind dining experience over at Maison Shuko
custom

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Clarke Quay lies this new intimate eight-seater restaurant, called Maison Shuko.

Serving Japanese-inspired, French-influenced modern Asian cuisine, the restaurant first opened its doors in late June. Helmed by chefs Angus Chow, Justin Foo and Jeremmy Chiam, the restaurant offers a personal and intimate dining experience that not only boasts a very well-thought-out menu, but it’s also elevated with an audio-visual experience that’s designed to enhance the restaurant’s philosophy of honouring how the food is created.

For instance, before every course is served, diners can expect to watch a short three-minute film — directed, produced and curated by Chef Justin Foo — that showcases the producer responsible for the course — setting the tone for the meal and educating diners on the inspiration and purpose behind each chef’s dish. Some of the producers featured in the film include local farms such as Hay Diaries Farm and Jurong Frog Farm.

In fact, we also got to try the experience ourselves and admit that it’s definitely one for the books. Some key dishes to look out for include Crocodile served with black charcoal keropok and fresh herbs; Truffle & Chicken Yolk Somen; and Grilled Grouper and Soy Milk Broth.

Maison Shuko is located at 3E River Valley Rd, #02-02, Singapore 179024
