Fancy a new place to venture this weekend? Why not check out the newly opened Bird Paradise. Home to some of the world’s most threatened species – from Philippine Eagles and Negros Bleeding-heart Doves, to Straw-headed Bulbuls, Black-winged Mynas and Blue-throated Macaws, Singapore’s new bird park will see new walk-through aviaries, a Sky Amphitheatre where two new avian presentations will take flight, and loads of intimate, keeper-led experiences.
Over at Pasir Panjang Power Station, on the other hand, Tiger Beer will be hosting a large festival to celebrate the launch of its new Tiger Soju Infused Lager. Of course, to commemorate the launch, festival-goers can expect performances by local trio, brb, female rapper Ramengvrl, alternative K-pop group Balming Tigers and South Korean singer-songwriter Lee-Hi. There will also be unique fusion food including fan favourites like Two Men Bagel House as well as refreshing concoctions from the Tiger Twist Bar.
