By now you would have already heard about the Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) in Singapore. And while many of us have had our fill of sweet treats, the 60,000 sq ft immersive pop-up has just unveiled another sweet surprise to satisfy our sugar cravings. Enter MOIC’s all-new Night at the Museum experience.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the latest adults-only event will see a new activity called Cone-nection Cube. With its main focus on sparking intimate connections among couples and friends, the activity consists of a series of quests for guests to complete that leads them to open up to one another, connect, and form fond memories.
Of course, upon completing these quests, guests will also be treated to celebratory sprinkle shots that are made exclusively over at the new alfresco bar located right outside the Museum of Ice Cream.
If you’ve been to the Scream’s Diner over at MOIC, then you would already know that they serve some of the most mouthwatering scoops of heaven with flavours ranging from apple pie to lychee bandung.
But this time ’round, the diner has also included a new boozy addition — the Hendrick’s Lunar Gin cocktail. Refreshing and floral, the drink is well-infused with a unique blend of agave, apple, cucumber and lime, that’s sure to ignite your senses. Prefer something that’s non-alcoholic? Well, the bar will also have mocktail versions of the drink as well.
As part of the Cone-nection Cube quests, you can also look forward to a card game called “We Should We Begin — A Game Of Stories” that you can play with your friends or your significant other.
Designed by psychotherapist and New York Times bestselling author, Esther Perel, the game aims to spark intimate conversations with your loved ones that will encourage deeper connections by divulging secrets about themselves through introspective and retrospective storytelling.
But the fun doesn’t end after you’re done with all 14 installations. if you’re looking for a nightcap, be sure to pop by MOIC’s new outdoor alfresco bar. Decked out with pink palm trees, a retractable roof, and lounge chairs, the bar is the perfect hangout spot offering lots of fancy tipples for you to indulge in.
Open to public, visitors with or without tickets to MOIC, can swing by for a drink or two, of which you’ll find cocktails like Pink-a-Colada, a bright pink fruity cooler, and Summer Oasis, a sparkly gin-based cocktail. Some of the other boozy drinks you can expect here include local brewery Brewlander’s craft beers, as well as other wines and spirits.
Alternatively, the bar also serves non-alcoholic beverages like milkshakes or ice cream — with top-selling flavours from the US ranging from Pinata with mango and raspberry swirls, to Malt Shake, as well as Queen Bee.
The Night of the Museum experience will commence on 1 Feb, 2022 at 6pm. Tickets start from $48 and the experience, which takes 60 to 90 minutes, and will include a Hendrick’s Lunar Gin cocktail at Scream’s Diner, alongside bottomless rounds of sweet treats.
