It’s finally that time of the year where you get to pull out your costumes because Halloween is almost here. From family-friendly events like the ones at Superpark and Universal Studios Singapore, as well as other Halloween-themed parties at Marquee and Yang, you’ll never run out of things to do during the annual spookfest.

Get your adrenaline pumping at X-SCAP8’s first-ever ‘Halloween Xtravaganza’. Having opened its doors in August this year, this new indoor playground at Orchard Central will be hosting its very own Halloween fright night where you can expect loads of activities that will get your heart racing.
Challenge yourself on X-SCAP8’S Slasher House Obstacle Course and Hi and Haunted Rope Course, or participate in an exciting challenge in the Smash Lab where you’ll have to peel a red apple without breaking the skin – of which, unsuccessful participants will have to face the wrath of an unwanted spirit. Guests will also be treated to an intimate magic show by the folks at X-SCAP8, and can even participate in a Scare Dress Parade and stand a chance to win attractive prizes

This roundup wouldn’t be complete without the annual Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Studios Singapore. This year, you can expect to see three different haunted houses that are sure to send chills down your spine, along with two scare zones and one laser tag challenge.
While we do expect the event to bring in a large crowd over the weekend, we highly recommend that you visit the Killustrator haunted house which will give you goosebumps, and The Hunt for Pontianak scare zone where you’ll see ghastly sightings of Southeast Asia’s most vicious spirit, the Pontianak.

This year, Museum of Ice Cream is celebrating the occasion with a spook-tacular experience from the 1st to 30th of October, where you can actually go trick-or-treating while you explore each room. Here, be sure to look out for their candy cauldrons and fill up your bags will cool confections at the different installations while completing some tricks.
As part of the extravaganza, you can also expect an unlimited flow of desserts, a seasonal menu over at the Cafe & Bar and an uncanny adventure full of interactive installations. But beware – at some stations, you’ll be given the option to choose between two different ice cream flavours, of which one of these flavours will come as an unexpected surprise.
What’s more, you can get your fortune read by the mysterious ice cream fortune teller, so be sure to keep a lookout for her as she has set up camp at one of the corners of the museum.
Once you’re done exploring the installations, we recommend that you sit back, relax and enjoy a few drinks over at the Cafe & Bar. Some of the drinks from the specially curated Halloween menu that will be available during the event, include The Haunted Milkshake, Witch’s Brew Cocktail, and Graveyard Sundae.

SuperPark is transforming its Skate and Scoot Park for the first time into a spooky haunted maze this Halloween. Aside from getting lost in the maze, guests can also look forward to 20 sports-centric activities during your two-hour session. Great for a family day out, your little ones will also be treated to a pumpkin-themed bouncy castle at the kids’ gym activity area and there will also be a Halloween-themed carnival at the futsal court as well.

What better way to celebrate Halloween than at Haw Par Villa itself? This year, you’re invited to embark on a chilling outdoor Candlelight special, all while being surrounded by statues and dioramas telling the stories of Chinese mythology and legends. As part of the performance, you can expect scores from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, The Addams Family, Thriller by Michael Jackson, and many more.

Hosted by the folks from Paranormal Encounter SG, this event is probably the first of its kind in Singapore. As the name suggests, you’re expected to drive through the space located at Golden Mile Tower 6, where you’ll encounter well-known ghouls like the pontianaks, pocongs, the lady in a red cheongsam, and not to forget, a few other zombified Japanese soldiers. There will also be a photobooth where you can grab a few snaps with your friends and don’t forget to also bring home the goodie bags that will be given with each purchase.
However, the event will also be on a smaller scale, and only 40 vehicles will be permitted per day, and they will only be allowing 400 pax per day.

This weekend, Yin Bar & Yang Club will be having a special two-night Halloween party that will take reference from Greek Mythology, transforming the hip destination into a murky cavern for ‘Beautiful Creatures’. To start off your night, head over to Yin Bar and indulge in their eerie-sistable themed cocktails, before letting loose at Yang Club where you can dance and party the night away with DJs like DJ Sherpa, Big M, Kidd Royale, and guest DJ UBERJAK’D, who will all be helming the decks over the spooktacular weekend.

Partygoers, you’re in for a real treat this Halloween because Marquee will be hosting a festive special this weekend. If you haven’t heard about this new club, then it’s about time you should. After opening its doors in August 2022, the new club will be hosting its very first spooky event this year, titled Cyberpunk Halloween. Like its name suggests, the futuristic party will dabble in trans-humanism, existentialism, and full-on integration of technology into society, of which you can expect to see DJs like 22Bullets, who has made a name for himself in the scene, and landed a place in the list of Top 100 DJs in 2020 and 2021. What’s more, over at the party, you’ll also get to try the new Chivas XV whisky that’s full of rich sultana and warming cinnamon notes, and enjoy it as a shot or even in a cocktail.
