The Year of the Rabbit is just round the corner, which means it’s high time to spring clean and update your living spaces to maximise good energy for the new year. Take tips from feng shui master Adelina Pang, who runs her namesake consultancy in Singapore, to identify the most prosperous areas in your home.
“Feng shui is a study of invisible energies around us,” says Adelina. “[Specifically], the feng shui study we use is called ‘Xuan Kong Fei Xing’, or ‘Flying Stars Feng Shui’. To harness the positive energies of the Flying Stars, one must understand that each year these stars shift location every 12 months and affect nine major grids in your home.”
Certain energy types reside in each corner of your home, the feng shui master notes. “For instance, one location may be very auspicious to spend a lot of your time in as it is the annual residing place of an especially beneficial star, while you might need to avoid another spot in your home as it is the current home of a rather ominous Star.”
Here, she shares a few pearls of feng shui wisdom on the different stars that reside in each corner for the Year of the Rabbit.
