The season of festive feasting is nearing, and many chefs and restaurants around the island have whipped up specially curated menus to celebrate the joyous season. If you’re not a fan of the usual Christmas fare, eschews the typical turkey and ham route and switch things up with these restaurants that offer their unique takes on the Christmas feast.
Can’t decide between beef and seafood? Savour the best of both worlds at Bedrock Origin. Located at Oasia Resort Sentosa, the restaurant is serving up prime ingredients from both land and sea by drawing influences from the Bedrock brand as well as the restaurant’s idyllic coastal locale.
The highlight of the Christmas menu is the Surf & Turf Platter, a communal sharing platter with mouthwatering dishes such as the 72-hour slow-cooked black angus short ribs, Australian rock lobster Thermidor, Italian pork sausages, house-made cornbread and more. For seafood lovers, save space for the restaurant’s house specialty of dry-aged grilled whole fish as well as freshly shucked oysters and caviar.
End the sumptuous meal on a sweet note with the restaurant’s new Dynamite Bombe Alaska. Touted as Singapore’s largest Bombe Alaska, it serves up to 16 persons and is made with raspberry white chocolate ice-cream, vanilla sponge, mini chocolate balls and meringue. Rum is poured table-side and lit for a classic flambé.
For a smaller dessert option, the nutty chocolate crumble cake in a box is a nut lover’s dream with a moist and dense cake with chocolate chips, pecans, and walnuts, topped off with crunchy chocolate crumbs. Both desserts will be introduced in time for the season and available from 1 December 2022.

Chef Damian D’Silva is celebrating Christmas at Rempapa this year with classic British cuisine that features Singapore heritage flavours. Dig into mains like the roast GG French poulet, which is brined with spices, salt, honey and vinegar for 24 hours, and stuffed with aromatics such as pandan leaves, fresh bay leaves, turmeric leaves and lemongrass.
The spiced meatloaf with sambal mashed potatoes features baked pork and vegetables cooked with nutmeg and curry powder and topped with mashed potatoes that are spiced up with a sambal made of rempah titek and Bombay onions.
There’s also bubble and squeak – chef’s version of the Sunday classic made with brussels sprouts, roasted pork, Bombay onions, and tossed in a tangy vinegar and black bean sauce. For dessert, save space for the spotted dick, a traditional British steamed pudding, served with gula melaka custard.
The four aforementioned dishes are also presented in a Festive Platter, which is only exclusively available for dine-in guests at Rempapa.

Over at Madame Fan, Christmas takes a modern Cantonese twist with a selection of a la carte festive dishes created by executive Chinese chef Pak Chee Yit. Stars of the show include the Boston lobster truffle dumpling creamy soup, the tender pan-seared A4 wagyu with foie gras in black miso sauce, as well as the restaurant’s version of the turkey staple: a roasted suckling pig, paired with wok-fried turkey ham and black truffle glutinous rice in a pumpkin cup.
Of course, you can’t leave out dim sum when it comes to Cantonese fare. Madame Fan’s popular signature brunch gets a festive spin with the Holiday Dim Sum Brunch, where you’ll be able to fill your stomach with an ensemble of dim sums along with the seasonal whisky-based Joyeux Noel cocktail. Diners will also be treated to the roasted suckling pig set mentioned above, as a complimentary addition.

Known for their extensive range of vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and vegan options, Wild Honey is celebrating the joyous season with a curated festive menu.
Begin with atypical starters such as the mini eggnog doughnuts, or the Christmas granola layered with whipped cinnamon maple mascarpone and dark plum compote. Look to the mains for the restaurant’s signature with all-day breakfasts – with a festive twist, of course. Indulge in options such as the luxe lobster benedict, which features poached slipper lobster, asparagus, lemon hollandaise, Avruga caviar on truffle brioche, or the sugar and spice Christmas French toast, which features spiced brioche with housemade brandy sauce, vanilla custard, caramelised figs, red currants and shattered toffee.

Enjoy a French-inspired feast at Clos Pasoh, where chef-owner Louis Pacquelin is serving up a 10-course Christmas Eve dinner with a medley of contemporary French creations. The lavish feast commences with potato salad and caviar, hand-cut beef tartare, and scallops and chervil velouté with sea urchin.
Others include the black truffle omelette soufflé and the chef’s signature bisque coco-homard, a creamy coconut and lobster bisque topped with a lobster dumpling. The highlight of the evening will definitely be the vol-au-vent géant, a classic puff pastry filled with sweet bread, poultry and foie gras.
There’s also a special brunch menu on Christmas day itself, where you’ll be able to dig into an array of hot and cold starters like potato pancakes with smoked salmon, poultry and wild mushroom paté croute, as well as marinated scallops with citrus sauce.
Mains will be served sharing style, and you can look forward to dishes such as the bar en colère, which features crumbed sea bass served with sauce diable, as well the Pommes mont d’Or truffées, a homely dish of classic potato gratin with aromatic truffles.

Tuck into a plant-based festive feast at casual fine dining restaurant Joie by Dozo. Specially curated for the Christmas season, the restaurant’s five-course lunch and six-course dinner menus consist of contemporary dishes with Japanese-European sensibilities and flavours.
Whet your appetite with the baked eggplant rollatini and vegan ricotta with homemade mushroom marina, and the pan-seared vegetarian foie gras served on a caramelised apple. For soups, you’ll get to choose between the sweet potato soup and the tomato and beetroot gazpacho (cold soup). The mains consists of options such as the grilled eggplant with mentaiko, a mushroom wellington – a fun spin on the classic beef wellington, as well as seared polenta topped with spinach ginger hummus.
Round off your meal with dessert, consisting of choices like the vegan truffle pudding with caramelised banana, homemade cheesecake, or an apple chocolate.

Modern Asian restaurant Path, which opened its doors earlier this year, is celebrating the spirit of the joyous season as well as its first Christmas with a special festive menu. French-trained executive chef Marvas Ng, who previously worked at restaurants in Hong Kong and China, has designed a six-course menu that highlights his culinary expertise with both French fare and Asian dishes.
Highlights include the Australian wagyu beef tartare which includes spinach, quail egg and dou ban jiang (broad bean chilli sauce), as well as the BBQ quail drumlet that’s made with Jerusalem artichoke puree and pistachio foam. There’s also the Shanghainese hairy crab roe with brown crab and soy cord, and the braised Australian wagyu short rib that’s served “Canton-style pot-au-feu” (a stew-like dish served as two courses: the broth and then the solid ingredients).
When: The Christmas menu at Path will be available from 22 to 25 December 2022.
Over at Burger & Lobster at Raffles Hotel, the culinary team has partnered with Champagne Telmont to present a bubbly festive spread with a medley of new dishes and menus.
Relish in specials such as the Champagne Lobster Roll, a mouth-watering creation that’s a twist on the restaurant’s beloved signature classic Lobster Roll. Succulent fresh lobster is served with a Champagne Telmont-infused butter sauce and topped with caviar for extra decadence. You can opt to pair your meal with a glass of bubbly; go classic with the Champagne Telmont Réserve Brut, or go for a pink with the Champagne Réserve Rosé.
For Christmas and New Year, the restaurant is presenting a three-course set menu. You’ll start off with the butternut squash lobster bisque served with garlic toast, before digging into the all-time favourites with the B&L Signature Tasting Platter. The platter features a mini Mayfair Burger and mini Lobster Roll, a half lobster either grilled or steamed, alongside a choice of fries or salad and Burger & Lobster’s signature lemon and garlic butter.
End the meal off with dessert, a comforting homemade bread and butter pudding that’s baked with nuts and black raisins and served with vanilla cream and a drizzle of salted caramel sauce.
When: The Champagne Lobster Roll is available at Burger & Lobster Raffles Hotel for the entire month of December, while the special set menu is only available on the 24th, 25th, 31st December 2022 and 1st January 2023.
