From South Korean actor Park Hae-jin and boyband singer Baekhyun from EXO to Bohemian Rhapsody’s Rami Malek and Big Bang’s Taeyang, let’s celebrate these hotties who have made the month of May a little brighter.
You might recognise this fresh-faced, doe-eyed stud from his roles in shows such as My Love from the Star (2013), Doctor Stranger (2014) and Cheese in the Trap (201), but did you know that Park Hae-jin is also an avid collector of sneakers? And by avid we mean that Hae-jin owns over 1,800 pairs of sneakers, for which he has a walk-in floor-to-ceiling style closet in his Seoul apartment dedicated to storing and displaying them.
Extravagant hobbies aside, the actor also looks like he’s got his beauty routine down pat — just look at that smooth fair skin! The soon-to-be 36-year-old, who admits to rewatching dramas that he has starred in to reflect on his acting, returned to our small screens this year with Forest and Old School Intern.

David Robert Joseph Beckham, or more famously known just as David Beckham, made his name as one of the greatest footballer players in the industry, and the first English footballer to win titles in England, Spain, USA and France.
His most notable stint has got to be his time in Manchester United — the team won the Premier League title six times while he was with them. He then went on to Real Madrid and LA Galaxy. While he might have ended his two decade-long career in 2013, the rugged-looking man has seen no signs of waning when it comes to his growing popularity. Deemed as the ultimate “metrosexual”, David has been and still is highly sought after by fashion and beauty brands, and even food and beverage companies.
Married to Victoria Adams, or Posh Spice, from girl group Spice Girls since 1999, David has four children including Brooklyn and Romeo, who has inherited his good looks.

With his boyish good looks and big, bright eyes, it’s no surprise that Byun Baek-hyun, or mononymously known as Baekhyun, is a popular member of hit South Korean boyband EXO where he is its main vocalist. But besides his amazing singing abilities and charming personality, Baekhyun has also dabbled in acting with a minor role in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016).
He even has his own unisex clothing label titled Privé Alliance. Good looks, powerful vocals and an entrepreneur? He’s a triple threat.

Silver-haired fox George Clooney charmed us with his performances in shows such as Ocean’s Eleven (2001) and Gravity (2013). But besides his suave personality and acting prowess (he has three Golden Globes and two Oscars, ladies), George is also actively involved in human rights issues.
Married to human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin since 2014, Clooney is a staunch supporter of gay rights and had most recently decried Brunei’s decision to pass an anti-LGBT law beside fellow celebs Ellen DeGeneres and Elton John.
Handsome and compassionate? We can’t.

With his deep, passionate vocals that are behind hits such as Bailamos (1999), Could I Have This Kiss Forever (2000) with Whitney Houston, Do You Know (2007), Bailando (2014) with Sean Paul, Descemer Bueno, and Gente De Zona, and his 2018 drop Move To Miami with Pitbull, it’s hard not to fall in love with Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias.
But what really gets us is his striking manly features, deep hypnotic eyes framed by envy-inducing long lashes and toned physique as a result of his active lifestyle.
Another thing that makes us adore him? This King of Latin Pop has been with bombshell Russian tennis player Anna Kournikova since 2001 and they have twins. Aww.
Mr. Robot (2014) might have been Rami Malek’s breakthrough role, but it wasn’t until Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) where he played the late Freddie Mercury from British rock band Queen that really propelled the American actor to superstardom. With his chiselled jaw and mischievous grin, his role in the musical biopic was so convincing that he received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe and Oscar for Best Actor. A recent report also showed that the movie had grossed US$900 million (S$1.2 billion) in the worldwide box office.
The actor is happily attached to his adorable Bohemian Rhapsody co-star Lucy Boynton. In fact, in his Oscar speech, he thanked her, saying: “Lucy Boynton, you’re the heart of this film. You are beyond immensely talented; you have captured my heart. Thank you so much.” Oh our heart.

Although he is the youngest in this list, turning just 23 in May, Martin Garrix has amassed an impressive list of accolades. Besides headlining renowned festivals such as Coachella, Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland, the baby-faced Dutch DJ and producer was crowned number one in the top 100 DJs list by DJ Mag, scooping the title for the third time in a row and beating out big names such as Tiësto and David Guetta.
He was also named by Forbes as the 10th highest earning DJ at US$10 million (S$13.53 million). Colour us impressed. Even if you haven’t heard of him, you’ve probably heard of his chart-topping hits including Animals (2013), In the Name of Love (2016) and Scared to be Lonely (2017). Plus we’ve got to award him extra points for having a nice sharp nose, boyish features and a cheerful demeanour too.

If you have been a long-time follower of the Hallyu wave, Ju Ji-hoon wouldn’t be an unfamiliar face. After all, the South Korean actor has starred in many notable productions including Princess Hours (2006), Along with the Gods (2017-18) and most recently, in Netflix’s hit zombie-themed drama Kingdom.
Beyond the screen, the dashing star actually debuted in showbiz as a model. With his towering height (1.88m!), he has appeared in campaigns including Calvin Klein and Levi’s. He has even won awards for his modelling prowess too. Besides the second season of Kingdom that was recently dropped, you can catch him in the legal drama Hyena.

Ross Butler is an American actor but did you know he was actually born right here in Singapore? You might have recognised this boyish face from hit Netflix productions Riverdale where he played Reggie Mantle and later as Zach Dempsey in Selena Gomez’s 13 Reasons Why.
Television isn’t the only space you can find him either. You can catch his mischievous grin in films include Shazam! (2019) and To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (2020). PS: Don’t miss out on his bangin’ body too.

Ahh Taeyang, where do we even start with him? Not only is he one-fifth of one of K-pop’s biggest boy bands Big Bang, Taeyang has also enjoyed a successful solo career since 2008 with karaoke favourites such as Wedding Dress (2010) and Eyes, Nose, Lips (2014). His toned physique comes with a side of abs and is topped off with a boyish face that screams of the bad boy your mother warned you about.
However, he’s off-limits as he’s happily married to actress Min Hyo-rin. We can’t wait for his new album to drop after he gets discharged from military service at the end of the year.

Besides the baby-faced Baekhyun, the suave Suho (real name Kim Jun-myeon) is another member of popular South Korean boyband EXO that celebrates turning a year wiser in May. Suho, which translates to “guardian” or “protector” from Korean, is rather fitting for him as he serves not only as the leader of the group but also a lead vocalist. In fact, Suho just dropped his first solo album titled Self-Portrait, with all the songs all composed by him at the end of March.
If his singing and songwriting prowess isn’t enough to impress you, Suho has also transversed into acting and musical theatre. His credits include productions such as One Way Trip (2016), Rich Man (2018) and musical The Man Who Laughs (2018 and 2020). In short, Suho is a name you definitely want to keep on your radar.
