“I’ve never wanted to be someone’s someone more than I do yours, and now I get to be your wife. On September 4th, 2021 we officially became each other’s forever. I love you beyond @charliemcdowell…”, Lily Collins captioned in an Instagram post that announced that the 32-year-old actress had tied the knot to director Charlie McDowell, 38, last Saturday (Sept 4).
Here’s what to know about their secret wedding.
The bride chose Ralph Lauren for her nuptials, donning an elegant long-sleeved lace wedding dress with a high neckline and a flared skirt. She also opted for a hooded floor-length cape.

The pair tied the knot at Dunton Hot Springs, which is nestled deep in the San Juan Mountains in Colorado, USA. Formerly a 19th-century ghost town, it has been transformed into a luxury resort housing 12 elegant cabins. It also has a restored bathhouse fed by a natural warm water source.
Located in an alpine valley, it boasts views of waterfalls, towering mountain peaks, rivers, meadows, and rows of Aspen trees.
The two had gotten engaged last September, with Lily Collins showcasing a stunning bezel-cut engagement ring on an Instagram post. They were first linked in 2019, with the Lily Collins sharing snaps of them in France during the filming of Emily In Paris.
Speaking to Page Six, the actress also shared how the pandemic has strengthened their relationship. “Quarantine has made and broken up a lot of people, but the time together just solidified what we already knew about each other,” she said. “Everyone has very much been who they are these last few months, because there aren’t any external distractions.”
“We’re all really getting back to the core of who we are without the layers of society,” she added. “When you’ve seen someone at their best and at their worst and you’re still right there with them, that’s a beautiful thing.”
