Local actress Jeanette Aw supported a good cause and got to meet media personality Irene Ang at a live art jamming session with children from SPD.
The actress with a heart of gold reflected on her experience, posting this photo with the caption, “Thank you for joining me on my Facebook live today. First time doing a charity session in such a way. It was fun, the children were amazing and I’m left with a challenging deconstructed abstract piece of art to “touch up” on. We started on this 60×80” canvas worrying that we may not finish within 30mins, but we did, totally surpassing my expectations and I love it. Art is afterall about free expression and boy did these children go at it!”.
The Mediacorp actress spent some quality time with her family in Japan, visiting iconic landmarks like the Imperial Palace and Mt Fuji. Joanne captioned this snap of her pushing a baby stroller, “We first traveled with my first born when she was 2 months old. Now we’ve got two in tow and it’s an entirely different experience! When we first arrived in Tokyo, my almost 7 month old son was frightened of the unfamiliar surroundings. He wouldn’t sit in his stroller and I had to baby wear him all day. Thankfully now he’s kind of used to it, so I can at least give my knees and feet a break”.
The mother of two also shared her travel tip and added that she “would recommend a lightweight and portable stroller for each child instead of a double stroller. 2 is still less cumbersome than one big one”.
There are many charitable celebrities out there who want to put their fame and fortune to good use. Take Hong Kong pop singer, Joey Yung, for example, who spent her Saturday at the 2017 Kidathon charity event to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House of Hong Kong. This is the sixth time the philanthropist is acting as an ambassador to the annual charity run.
The local actress was working hard in Chiang Mai for a Her World Brides photo shoot – and we seriously can’t wait to see the results! On her time off, Rebecca enjoyed the great outdoors and got up close and personal with an elephant. Sbe posted this photo along with the caption, “I’m in love.Had a super wonderful and unforgettable day with the elephants. Chiang Mai has been absolutely amazing”.
Nothing beats kicking back and relaxing with your bestie. South Korean pop star Jessica Jung spent her Saturday catching up with her stylish friend Irene Kim.The stylish duo can always be spotted in the front row of major fashion events like New York Fashion Week.
When the supermodel is not busy gracing the covers of magazines or sashaying down the runways, she likes spending her free time with her friends. Lately it seems like the it girl hangs out with a new famous friend every day. This weekend, the statuesque Korean model caught up with content creator Jules Lee over lunch.
Nothing screams “weekend” quite like brunch. Local model enjoyed a leisurely brunch with her friend, media personality Rosalyn Lee at the newly opened PS.Cafe at Raffles City. “Weekends are for white boutique sangrias and brunching!” the fresh-faced actress wrote on Instagram. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
