9 Christmas fairs and pop-ups in Singapore to check out this December

The most highly anticipated event of the year is back and better than before! This year, the Christmas Wonderland, held at Gardens by the Bay will be returning from December 3, 2021 to January 2, 2022.

Here, you can expect up to eight light displays including a 20.5m-tall Spalliera, the 44m-long Walk of Stars light tunnel, and 30m-long Enchanted Bridge. If you’re looking to buy gifts for your loved ones, then you’ll be thrilled to know that the event will also see the return of the Mistletoe Alley Market where you can get your hands on Christmas gifts for your loved ones. And last but not least, the Christmas Wonderland isn’t complete without the carnival games. Some of them that you can look forward to includes Fishy Fishy, Darts, Blockbuster and Bowling.

Capitol’s Christmas market is already underway, with many local brands selling a variety of great present choices such as crystal earrings, room sprays and other fragrances, jade tea sets, and more. Stores are stationed in clear domes, which is bound to make your time there a unique experience.

This marketplace will feature an approximate number of 12 booths over the course of the whole month of December. Yes, you read that right, this fair will last a whole 31 days. The organisers also curate the list of stores featured sold, requiring owners to send in their products for review before they are allowed to set up shop at the place.

There will be perfectly gift-able items on sale, including crystal bracelets and art prints.

Some brands taking part include Knotty By Nature SG, (unique fashion pieces that were made using natural fabrics and dyes); Kawah Rwanda (coffee beans harvested from Rwanda to Singapore where they are roasted); and Tungaa Floral (customised wreaths perfect for the season!).

Are you on the hunt for children gifts or family-lifestyle items? This pop up features 60 homegrown online boutiques for you to shop to your heart’s content. Participating brands include Noah’s Toys, which specialises in wooden toys for kids; Evercasa, which creates fabric wall decals to spruce up rooms; and Oasis Beauty Kitchen, which sells beauty items such as sunscreen and soaps.

There are two editions, the first held 10 December 2021 – 12 December 2021, and the second 17 December 2021 – 19 December 2021. Tickets are priced at $6.32 for registration.
