Did you know? All these female celebrities are "WHIPs"
Every so often, we come across a new word, slang or phrase on the internet. The latest acronym that’s caught our eyes is WHIP, a term coined by The Telegraph writer Bibi Lynch.
Bibi, at 51 years young, dates younger guys. In case you’re wondering, it’s not uncommon. Singers and actresses like Mariah Carey and Demi Moore have done it before.
So, what does WHIP stand for? According to Bibi, it means, “women who are Hot, Intelligent and in their Prime.” Simply put: It’s a group of females who’ve reached their career highs, are comfortable with the way they look, know what they want and are unafraid of any age differences when it comes to their dating and married lives.
Speaking of which, we’ve come up with our own edit of female celebrities who are rightfully WHIPs. For those of you single ladies out there who’ve rejected younger guys because of the age gap, give it a go! After all, someone wise once said: “When you really love someone, age, distance, height, weight…are merely numbers.”
Actress and sex bomb Christy may be a twice-divorced mother but she hasn’t let that affect her search for true love.
Thankfully, she met actor Lunshuo in 2015 on a dating show named Perhaps Love and things got serious afterwards. The duo tied the knot in 2016 in the presence of Christy’s three daughters — Yasmine Ross, Jaden Yen and Cayla Yen.
Both of them became close friends after filming The Journey: Our Homeland in which Felicia took on the role of Jeffrey’s mum. Fast forward to today, the lovebirds regularly update their Instagrams with blissful photos of themselves.
Singaporean celebrity host Jamie — who’s now seven months pregnant — first met her hubby Rupert on Tinder.
After going out for eight months, Rupert proposed to Jamie in April 2017. Jamie then posted a photograph on her Instagram and simply captioned as “Yes.” The lovely couple are now waiting for the arrival of their baby boy.
