In collaboration with Chinese calligrapher, Wahfong Calligraphy, architect-turned-software developer Li Shan unveiled the collab’s elegant yet vibrant set of red packets. With a design that focuses on the calligraphy script, these hong baos are also embossed with blessings written in Chinese characters such as ‘fortune’, ‘wish’, ‘luck’ and ‘prosperity’.

The pastel pink-infused pearlescent papers give a touch of opulence to this set of hong baos by Z Collectiv. But what stands out the most about this design would have to be the phoenix and fish elements embossed in gold. Here, the phoenix signifies peace, prosperity and is said to rebirth out of ash, symbolising the constant striving spirit.
