Colourful timepieces to illuminate your watch collection
More colours, please!
Black, silver and gold are so passé. This season, we want all things colourful, cheery and beautiful. Although there’s nothing wrong with having classy watches, adding a little colour into our daily lives adds that splash that we all want (and need) from time to time.
To help you with that, we’ve found a few watches that aren’t black, silver, or gold – we’ve got an enchanting emerald green piece, a fiery red and a watch that dons more than one vivid colour. Too much? We don’t think so.
The best times to wear these timepieces are when you’re wearing neutrals like beige, grey, white or black. On the other hand, you could wear them when you want to highlight a portion of your outfit – wearing a red watch with a red blouse would accentuate the hue. So scroll through the gallery for the gorgeous shades.
A revamped version of the vintage classic, the Henriette.
This Lip watch has a deep red leather strap that goes perfectly with Asian skin tones. Donning a petite physique, this watch would suit you well if you have a slim wrist – the strap is 8mm wide and the polished steel case has a diameter of 18.5mm.
Since it is so dainty, matching this watch with the rest of your wardrobe will be easy peasy!
This delicate watch is not just dainty, but it’s perfect for layering with minimal bracelets.
Crystals around the mother-of-pearl dial dazzle and give this watch a feminine appeal. It has a pink, genuine leather bracelet, champagne gold-tone stainless steel case and the iconic Swarovski swan as a final touch.
We’re cheating a little with this one, but who doesn’t love rose gold and some champagne pink sparkles?
This chic timepiece comes in an oval shape that seems to be a rising trend. With a rose-gold physique and nearly 2000 crystals, who’d say no to this. The crystals will glimmer like a thousand rainbows under the sun.
The dial – white silver-toned with a sunray effect – has the Swan logo (also in rose-gold of course) and indexes. The watch operates on Swiss quartz movement.
Baguette Emeraude & Onyx High Jewellery, Cartier, price available upon request
This stunner is nothing short of exquisite.
The watch has a rhodium-finish 18k white gold case and bracelet that is bedazzled with 28 baguette-cut diamonds totaling 3.68 carats, 30 baguette-cut emeralds totaling 2.68 carats and 18 onyx totaling 2.64 carats.
The dial itself is a lacquered translucent silver one with a sunray effect. It dons the Cartier signature at 12 o’clock and steel hands.
While it does have classic colours, we love how the green emeralds give it the pop it needs to stand out and give your outfit ensemble a twist.
