Many of you might fawn over Son Ye-jin and her romance with Hyun Bin, but Seo Ji-hye should not be overlooked. Playing the role of feisty Seo Dan, Seo also served up stylish looks in the popular South Korean drama. Ahead, we shout out a few of our favourites and the bags she carried.
In episode three, Seo appeared with a floral Valentino dress and trench coat. The crowning finish of her look was the Valentino VSling bag.
Valentino debuted the VSling bag at last year’s Spring/Summer collection as an extension of the classic Vring range. Both focuses on the “V” symbol as the inspiration but this line has a boxy silhouette to accompany the eye-catching logo.
As soon as she returned to North Korea, Seo wore Tod’s Fall/Winter 2019 as she visit her mother’s departmental store to pick out a new outfit to meet Hyun Bin. Her bag, too, was from Tod’s.
The classic saddle bag (here are other Korean-celebrity approved bags) is transformed with the hardware used to make paddington coats, which undoubtedly adds uniqueness.
Seo and Hyun had a strategic marriage planned yet she had only seen him four times in the seven years before she returned to North Korea. In one of the scenes in Switzerland, Seo wore a checkered Loewe coat with a white T-shirt and the iconic Loewe Gate bag.

Feeling rejected, there were moments where Seo sought help from Kim Jung-hyun (who played Gu Seung-joon). In this rooftop scene, she wore a sleek coat with a checkered suit and carried a Chloe C bag.
Clean lines accentuate the boxy structure of this Chloe bag, which complements nicely against the sleek gold C hardware.
In episode seven, Seo and her mother was covertly shopping for a wedding gown as it is illegal in North Korea. Her striking blue outfit and Moynat bag immediately stood out.
In the show, Seo’s mother is the wealthy owner of a departmental store, which is why she is able to carry this hefty $9,000 bag.
In this scene, Seo goes shopping in an Alexander McQueen printed dress and bag.
This dumpling-shaped design interplays brown and black and angular lines to create a stunning visual effect.
