Carrie Wong’s favourite designer bags that reflect her sweet, trendy style

The Dior Saddle was first released in the Dior 2000 Spring/Summer collection under then-creative director John Galliano. It was later revived by current creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri in the 2018 Fall/Winter collection and has become an emblematic design of the brand.

The late French painter Adolphe Mouron Cassandre created the famous YSL logo for Saint Laurent. To commemorate him, the brand specially named the bag with his name, Cassandra. This envelope-style handbag is loved for its sleek, clean lines.

This Miss Vivier bag came from the 2021 Spring/Summer collection and is made with soft leather. It is accented with a crystal buckle and studded shoulder strap.

Recent seasons saw a trend of cosmetic bags, such as Saint Laurent 80’s Vanity cosmetic bag seen here on Carrie. The retro design is made with embossed quilted calfskin and is embellished with the YSL logo.

Loewe Balloon is a bucket bag that debuted in the 2020 Spring/Summer collection. The bag mouth adopts a knotted drawstring design, and is especially great for short outdoor trips.

The Givenchy backpack Carrie is sporting here features a striking logo, while the classy black and white colourway adds evergreen and practical elements to the design.

The Lee Radiziwell bag from Tory Burch is made with both leather and suede, and is accented with the brand’s signature key and lock. Named after Lee Radziwill, the bag was created to celebrate her brave and fearless spirit.

The Saint Laurent Cassandra shoulder bag is also a classic that shows off the brand’s workmanship. This eye-catching red textured leather bag was made in Italy, and features the signature envelope silhouette.

The iconic Dior Saddle is available in mini, small and medium sizes, and comes with a D-shaped charm. The matte black leather bag carried by Carrie is accented with similarly coloured hardware to give off a cool, mysterious charm.

The highlight of the T Monogram bucket bag is the brass double T logo push lock. Made by craftsmen, this leather bag has a timeless appeal.

Thanks to the wrinkled leather, the Saint Laurent Niki bag gives off a retro feel. It is also made with a chevron pattern and a YSL letter logo. Finally, the removable chain and leather shoulder strap add to the bag’s versatility.
