Ines de la Fressange is back with another capsule collection in collaboration with Uniqlo—this time for fall/winter 2021. Much like previous seasons, the latest instalment consists of ready-to-wear pieces which can be mixed and matched for the ultimate, Parisian chic outfit.
Not only is Ines de la Fressange is a style icon—she was the muse to none other than the late Karl Lagerfeld when he was at Chanel—she’s also a highly successful fashion designer in her own right; she launched her namesake label back in 1991. So it’s no surprise that Uniqlo keeps bringing her back, season after season, to imbue their LifeWear garments with the highly coveted French style she is known for.

For her fall/winter collection with Uniqlo, Ines took inspiration from the Swiss village of Rossinière, adored by artists for its breathtaking mountain scenery. Situated at Lake Geneva district with pastoral views of meadows stretching over the mountain valleys, it’s also where Ines spends her Christmas holidays—a theme that underlines the entire series.

The whole collection can be summed up in one word: Cosy. Comprising cashmere blend knit ponchos in moss-green earth tones, 3D knit dresses, masculine jackets, berets and reusable shopping bags, it emanates nostalgia and warmth. The collection also offers Ines’ signature sophistication in terms of silhouette and finishing as well as relaxed stylings.
