Once a trend reserved for the hippy flower power crowd, the nostalgic tie-dye has re-emerged in recent times with an edgier and more contemporary street-style.
We saw it on celebs such as Beyonce and Justin Bieber, and then it became a catwalk trend, with brands such as Prada, Proenza Schouler, Stella McCartney, ASAI and Ashley Williams giving their take on the new tie-dye.
Whether it is in figure-hugging silhouettes or printed on luxury fabrics such as satin or incorporated into denim, the new tie-dye is fierce, feminine and fashionable, and can be worked into modern city life as much as it can be brought to the beach.
We’ve rounded up the best tie-dye items to help you get on the bandwagon and spruce up your Spring wardrobe.
