Founded by friends Brigitte MacGowan and Desley Maidment, Australian fashion label State Of Escape was launched in 2013.
The name was inspired by their love of travel, and according to Desley: “We pride ourselves on refined craftsmanship, with all our collections continuing to be made locally in Australia after eight years. The beauty is in the simplicity.”
Indeed, a quick glance at State of Escape’s catalog of totes, crossbodies and carryalls reveal the bag brand’s fuss-free DNA. Which makes the brand’s designs even more attractive for all because of how easy it is to incorporate their bags into our daily lives. You would have probably noticed somebody carrying a State of Escape signature neoprene carryall at the gym or grocery store.
