Probably one of the longest-running shows in the world, Sesame Street has produced memorable characters since it first debuted in 1969—Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Grover, Bert and Ernie, and Elmo, just to name a few. Like so many, Moschino’s creative director Jeremy Scott grew up watching the cast and was heavily influenced by the show—practicing kindness and having a natural curiosity about the world’s possibilities—so it’s only apt that he decided to collaborate with Sesame Street to produce a capsule collection to honour the beloved TV show.

All the items in this collection—including a hooded windbreaker, cropped denim vest, knitted cardigan and sweater—are given the Moschino treatment, with some of the cast “dressed” in iconic Moschino biker jacket motifs, tracksuits, tees and sneakers and playful bubble letter logos.

That’s not all. Singer-songwriter and lifelong fan of the show, Kacey Musgraves, stars as the face of the collection. Lensed by Greg Swales and styled by Erica Cloud, the images are fun, quirky and whimsical.
