Nail art don’t always have to be elaborate, and over-the-top. Go with these fresh, minimalist designs which are chic, modern and easy enough to create on your own too.
LEFT
#1: Go Asymmetrical
Paint the trendy half-moon style with varying colour proportions on each nail. Use light complementary colours like pale yellow and beige – they make your nails look polished without being stuffy.
RIGHT
#2: Use More Colours
Go for two colours instead of one for the base of the reverse French tip. You can also use different colour combinations on every nail.

#3: Specks Of Cheer
Accent your nails with specks of colour, and create different styles on each nail. If you’re not confident of using nail polish, opt for nail stickers instead.

#4: Go In Circles
Use distinct geometric shapes like circles for the painted areas to create a strong contrast against the negative space.

#5: Geometric Shapes
Use different combinations of lines, dots, shapes and complementary colours on each nail, but leave one in a solid colour with no pattern on it, to create a balanced look.

#6: Abstract Painting
The best part about abstract lines and shapes is nobody knows if it’s a mistake or art. Layer different colours over one another, and use nail polishes of different finishes – like matte and shimmery – to add more dimension to your manicure. You can even use foil stickers for an original look.
