It’s said that Victoria’s Secret models like Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima and Gisele Bundchen, all attend a boxing class before the brand’s annual fashion show. The Angels attend these classes to get pumped and to look their best when they strut down the runway.
And while we’re not advocating looking like an Angel on your wedding day, this high-octane sport gives you more than just a leaner bod.
For one, it’s a great stress-reliever. Whether you’ve been fretting over the guest list or inundated with questions from the family, hitting a heavy bag can offer respite from wedding planning-induced anxiety. The physical activity also pumps up your endorphins and lifts your mood.
And for brides-to-be looking to get cut or shed a few pounds, it’s a great overall workout, and each class allows you to burn at least 200-400 calories (from what we’ve tried!). Plus, it’ll help you flaunt toned arms and a tighter core (goodbye batwings and hello abs!) in sleeveless or midriff-baring wedding dresses (or for that sexy bridal boudoir shoot)
So, while we can’t guarantee that you’ll get a Victoria’s Secret model-worthy body, we promise you’ll definitely have fun and burn those calories at one of these gyms.
