After a successful run working with motifs from Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbour Totoro in 2021, Loewe has teamed up again with the prestigious Japanese animation film studio on a second collaboration. Launching on January 7, it’s based this time on Spirited Away, one of the most critically acclaimed and game-changing shows of its genre.
In this line, some of the most iconic moments from anime auteur Hayao Miyazaki’s work turn up on a host of ready-to-wear and leather goods. These range from printed wardrobe staples and SLGs to splendidly complex knits with appliques of the movie’s characters.

There are plenty of novelty pieces to love too: The brand’s signature Flamenco drawstring bag, for example, features a print of Aogaeru – the frog spirit in the film – with its leather ties for the creature’s hands.
The adorable, ghoulish (read: shapeless) No-Face – perhaps the most beloved figure in Spirited Away – has meanwhile been cleverly interpreted into the equally supple Bracelet pouch.
Ahead, we spotlight some of the items in this spirited outing.
