If there’s one Christmas collection to look forward to, for this writer it would be Hermes’. The French maison’s festive collections are typically a celebration of elevated living, nicely rounded off with a touch of whimsy signature to Hermes – just check out the animated film that accompanied last year’s collection for proof.
This year’s collection feels particularly apt; there are many items perfect for those who have travelling in mind – including handsome luggage tags, leather-trimmed carry-on suitcases, cashmere gloves and beanies as well as a handsome tartan take on the Galop d’Hermes overnighter bag.
A personal stand-out: the utterly delectable cream and azure blue bicycle that looks straight out of the upcoming Wes Anderson flick The French Dispatch.
For the beauty junkies: there are three new limited-edition (matte finish) additions to the popular Rouge Hermes lipstick line – Rose Tamise, Orange Brulee and Rose Magenta – as well as the elegantly crisp, green fragrance that is H24, which is Hermes’ first men’s scent in 15 years.
Take your time and savour the collection below.
