An annual award ceremony that bestows accolades for outstanding performance in film and television, the Golden Globe Awards is back for its 76th edition this year, which means the awards season has officially begun.
This year’s event sees the nomination of Asian stars, like Constance Wu for Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy for Crazy Rich Asians, as well as entertainment heavy-weights, such as Lady Gaga for Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama for her role in A Star is Born.
But while the names on the envelopes are highly anticipated, the ceremony is also all about the fashion. And this year’s red carpet looks did not disappoint, with celebrities decked to the nines in their best and most glamorous duds.
Here are 10 best looks at the star-studded celebration of film and television that took our breath away.

Michelle Yeoh blew us away when she showed up in this bejewelled green dress. Styling the leather and lace number with an elegant diamond choker, a statement watch and a sophisticated embellished clutch, she was a picture of grace and sophistication.
We think the look drew inspiration from the unforgettable emerald engagement ring from Crazy Rich Asians, which by the way, you can spot if you were to look closely. Fun fact: The ring was actually hers to begin with — she had lent it to the production team.
