One of the most popular wedding dress silhouettes, the figure-hugging shape flatters brides with hourglass figures, and cuts a dramatic figure for formal receptions, especially with embellishments on the skirt.
Depending on the areas you want to accentuate or height, keep in mind where you want your skirt to start “flaring out”. If you want the illusion of skinner thighs, have the skirt flare out mid-thigh. If you want to show off your derriere, seek a design with a skirt that flares out below the knee. Keep in mind though, that the lower the hem, the more restricted your movements will be.
