For award-winning Szechuan and Cantonese fare, many turn to Peony Jade. Its Keppel Club restaurant has 2016 and 2017 Michelin Bib Gourmand Awards so you can count on excellent food that will impress the fussiest of tastebuds. 

Catering-wise, the Forever Love Tea Reception Buffet Package starts at $28.80+ per guest with a minimum of 30 guests, and Eternal Union Wedding Banquet Buffet Package is from $60.80+ per guest with a minimum of 50. Tunglok Catering

Tunglok offers couples two themes to choose from: A Walk Down Memory Lane or A Stroll in the Park, which are specially created for its wedding packages as well as buffet menus. 

It has four wedding catering menus, from cocktail reception to lunch and dinner buffet. On top of this, you’ll also get fresh floral arrangements as well as live stations. 

We spoke to Joseph Gan of Tung Lok Catering on his tips when it comes to wedding catering.

Peach Garden

Its elegant restaurants with stunning Oriental interiors are marvellous for weddings, but if you’re having your celebration at another location, you can still savour Peach Garden’s renowned authentic Chinese cuisine. Its catering service, which can serve up to 600 guests, offers a customisable menu, drop-off catering as well as on-site cooking (a kitchen on the premises is required). It’s also the official caterer for Gardens by the Bay and The Chapel @ Imaginairum.

One Paradise

JUMBO Catering

One of Singapore’s top seafood haunts has its own catering arm to bring its well-known fare to your special occasion. Aside from fresh seafood (and its award-winning Chilli Crab), its menu includes Asian dishes like Pork Ribs with “Ching Kiang” Sauce, Braised “Ee-Fu” Noodles with XO Sauce and Lotus Leaf Glutinous Chicken Rice. Additional catering logistics and service staff can be arranged if the need arises, and the helpful team even assist couples source for a venue if necessary!

Delicious contemporary Italian fare aside, we were bowled over by its extensive selection of buffet menu options, too! Expect exquisitely crafted and scrumptious canapes, hearty mains like prawn casserole, lamb tagine, beef stronganoff, poached salmon as well as an assortment of tempting desserts. Violet Oon Catering

If you’re a fan of Peranakan fare, you’ve definitely heard of Violet Oon. From its location at Bukit Timah, the renowned author, food ambassador and cooking show host has since expanded her chain of dining outfits to include National Kitchen and Violet Oon Satay Bar and Grill. 

For your celebration, you can choose between butler-served canapes, plated or buffet options or live stations. It’s also got an events team who’ll help dream up tasteful decor to complement your wedding theme. By the way, the dry laksa and beef rendang are must-orders.

Straits Chinese Nonya restaurant

It’s been around since 1953, is the oldest Nonya restaurant in Singapore and its Cecil Street restaurant has been in the Michelin Guide SingaYoupore Edition for two consecutive years (2016 and 2017). Have your guests tucking into mouthwatering specialties include Ayam Buah Keluak, Nonya Ngoh Hiang and Babi Pong Tay. It also provides live stations with tempting dishes like pan fried dry laksa and Nonya Babi Pangang.
