Our March Cover girl of 2017, actress Cheryl Wee – was caught on camera tearing up with joy as her aunt Dawn Yip sang a song to bless her marriage.
Her husband was also caught looking at her with the most affectionate beam on his face. So cute!

There’s nothing as surreal as the moment you watch your life partner make their way down the aisle to you.
Vannessa and Sean, who had a stunning outdoor wedding in Australia, had this unforgettable moment captured when Sean started sobbing at the sight of his wife when she stepped into the ceremony area.
“It felt like time had stopped, and then I remember feeling amazed at how far we’d come,” shares Sean.
Vannessa adds: “I started smiling and laughing when I realised Sean was sobbing. For months he’d sworn that I would be the teary mess!”

For Sophia and Remi, maintaining a long-distance and cross-cultural relationship – she’s from Taiwan, and he France, had been tough on their families as well as them – culminating in an emotional wedding day that saw both tears and joy.
“Both of our moms gave emotional speeches during our solemnisation. It was the most memorable part of our wedding day,” says Sophia.
Here, the bride is seen supporting her mom as she gave her blessing and thanks to the newly-weds.
We can’t get over this capture of Remi and his mom sharing a warm embrace as well.

Nixi and Hwee Sheng, who had a banquet at Grand Hyatt, surprised their families with a lovely tribute video to honour them, and plenty of emotions were evoked.
Clearly a parent’s love is unlike any other.
“Seeing our families get all emotional while watching the video we had made for them ensured us that honouring our loved ones was definitely the right thing to do,” shares the couple.

Beyond this romantic shot is a special memory for this couple during their first dance as man and wife.
Chelsa and Terence, who celebrated with a banquet at Intercontinental Singapore, shared with us:
“Chelsa was supposed to leave for a gown change, but the moment we stood up, the band played one of our favourite songs and invited us to dance. We were completely caught off-guard but it was a lovely moment.”

Wei Ying surprised Alvin with her emotional reaction to their speeches and he, in turn, was there to sweetly wipe her tears away.
“Having seen and vetted my wedding speech, I thought that my wife would not be shedding any tears when I delivered it during the wedding. I was quite surprised when she still teared during the speeches,” said Alvin.

Before their celebration at Naumi Hotel’s rooftop bar, Marion and Marc-Andre had an intimate first-look moment in the gardens of Raffles Hotel.
