Haw Par Villa

With statues and dioramas depicting scenes from Chinese mythology, folklore, legends and history(and especially its vivid depiction of the 10 Courts of Hell), the theme park is the least likely place we’d actually think of getting hitched at but yes, it’s actually open for weddings! You can have a reception at its wedding hall, and a cocktail reception or solemnisation at the courtyard. Closed for renovation since October 2018, the park is slated to be open on 1 March 2019.

Citizen Farm

This urban farm located near Queenstown MRT houses an air-conditioned 300 sq m events hall, which comes with a exclusive use of a share outdoor pantry area. You’ll even be able to get farm-to-table catering for a wholesome feast for your guests!

Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)

Pet lovers can rent SPCA’s multi-purpose space (usually utilised for educational talks and animal training sessions) to tie the knot. With a minimum donation of $500, and depending on the length and time of the event, couples can hire the venue for an outdoor solemnisation or wedding lunch reception. More details, here.

Orto

For beautiful lake views and lush greenery, Orto, the former Bottle Tree Park, makes a good venue option for outdoor wedding ceremonies. The Lakehouse with rustic charms sits prettily on the lake and can hold up to 150 guests. The breezy and open-air Promenade allows up to 500 guests and gazebos and tents can be set up upon request.

Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations

Perhaps the most unlikely choice in the list, the auditorium at Singapore Federation of Chinese Clan Associations (SFCCA) makes for a good blank slate for a wedding ceremony. Hold wedding bashes reminiscient of our parents! – with boisterous conversations and numerous yum-sengs with glasses of Tiger beer.

RedDot Brewhouse Dempsey

RedDot BrewHouse Dempsey is situated in a charming colonial bungalow set amidst serene garden settings – making it ideal for a rustic garden themed wedding solemnisation or reception dinner. You can enjoy very decent beers while you’re at it which is a huge bonus in our books.
