The bride’s simple but elegant look
Before her wedding, Hwang met the press in a media conference at The Shilla hotel in a romantic cap sleeved sheath white dress with lace details. The actress then changed into a similar looking design for the ceremony, but with more lace accents and a floor-length veil. Hwang looked radiant and fresh with natural-looking makeup, K-brows, and barely-there coral-red lips.
Hwang later changed into an elaborate and regal pink and gold hanbok for the second march-in.
The venue
Guests, who included Hwang’s friends and co-stars Park Han Byul, Jung Sun Ah, and Shin Dong Mi, were transported into a magical, otherworldly set-up in the ballroom. Fairy lights dotted every corner of the room, while sparkling crystal chandeliers lent sophistication and more. Onstage, the couple walked down the aisle, and under the makeshift arbour – a draped canopy with yet another chandelier, and white floral arrangements.
The entertainment
It seems the couple has many friends, as a good number of them chipped in to help with the ceremony. Actor Lee Soon Jae officiated while JYJ’s Junsu and actress Jung Sun Ah performed during the reception.
