Local fashion designer, Goh Lai Chan, kicked off Singapore Fashion Week with a bang. During the show, he presented his take on “The Singapore Dress” with influences from the cultures and races of our little red dot.
Here are our favourite looks straight from the runway.
TNP New Face 2017 winner, Jean Yong, opened the show donning a sheer embroidered mandarin collar top completed with a copper chevron-printed midi skirt.

Work appropriate and stylish, this white blouse, sheer embroidered vest and batik pencil skirt combination does it all.

Take a look at this bold look consisting of a sari-inspired top and a red batik skirt.

This strong number featuring caged shoulder details adorned with pearls and jewels blew us away.

We absolutely adore this white ensemble designed with oriental inspired embellishments. The high slit right in the middle of the dress gives it a subtle yet sexy touch.

We couldn’t keep our eyes off the gold tassels as they swayed whilst the model was walking down the runway.

Simple yet sophisticated, this gold-beaded dress finished with tassel details at the bottom easily made it to our favourites. Especially since former Asia’s Next Top Model contestant, Aimee Cheng-Bradshaw carried it so well.

This romantic white dress decorated with floral details is totally serving wedding vibes.
