Did you know that Jessica Jung, who was originally born in San Francisco, California, was talented spotted while she was on holiday in South Korea? She would later go on to train for seven years before debuting as one of nine members in K-pop biggest girl group, Girls’ Generation, in 2007. Talk about serendipity!
But beyond her singing prowess, the Ice Princess, as her fans lovingly call her, is also known for her sense of style. In fact, her love for fashion prompted her to start her own label Blanc & Eclare in 2014 and it has now grown to a reported 60 stores worldwide. You can find some of her pieces on Zalora as well.
In celebration of her hitting the big 3-0 on April 18, we broke down five of her best looks and show you alternatives you can get your hands on to recreate her polished style. Psst, it’s not that difficult.

Scroll through her Instagram and you’ll realise that Jessica really loves layering outerwear over a simple combo of shirt (or t-shirt) and jeans. With a wide variety ranging from denim jackets, to blazers and trenches, the one that caught our eye however, was this Chanel tweed number she wore.
Unlike other outerwear, tweeds adds texture to the ensemble and this look gave Jessica a polished yet relaxed air, despite being styled simply with a turtleneck and jeans.
