Best dressed Korean celebs at Seoul Fashion Week FW’18

Seoul Fashion Week (SFW) concluded last week after showing all its creative forte — equal to that of the city which hosted it. Held at the distinguished Dongdaemun Plaza, the six-day event saw plenty of innovative designs and strong spirited collections from homegrown Korean labels.

There was also no shortage of celebrity sightings. How do we know? We were there to check it out for ourselves.

From EXID’s Hani and Jeonghwa to Apink’s Jung Eunji, here are the best dressed Korean celebrities seen at SFW.

Members of the South Korean girl group EXID Hani and Jeonghwa made an appearance for the Korean label Romanchic’s FW’18 show. Dressed in matching grey checks (we show you how to work this trend into your wardrobe here), the two starlets gave classic suiting a more casual twist with flirty ruffles and laidback silhouettes.

Ex-member of Girl’s Generation Seo Hyun wore a sleeveless nude-coloured dress with layers upon layers of lace and an exaggerated mermaid hem to the Miss Gee Collection fashion show. She teamed this with simple drop earrings and black block heels for an elegant finish.

Member of the South Korean girl group Nine Muses So Jin took the creative route and dressed in a powder pink dress shirt with doodle-style cartoon embroideries. A fairly simple look which packs a punch in showing off character, this ensemble suits the singer’s sweet disposition.

Member of the girl group After School Lizzy donned a metallic pussybow blouse and a skirt with colourful printed stars. She teamed this with a pair of gorgeous emerald drop earrings and a multi coloured purse.

Actress and Singer Kim Yewon, who debuted in 2011 as a member of K-pop girl group Jewelry, opted for a schoolgirl-chic look with an oversized graphic sweater and a plaid mini skirt. She accessorised with a beret, a choker necklace, and black fishnet stockings.

In attendance for the Miss Gee Collection show, APink’s Jung Eun Ji wore a longline blue coat with vertical white stripes and a striking red belt. She chose a muted, khaki-coloured pair of baggy trousers to go with the chic and sophisticated ensemble.

Singer and actress Hahm Eun Jung wore an oversized white blazer with matching white trousers to the 2018 F/W ‘Beyond closet’ show. Paired with a minimalist charm necklace and a black satchel purse. Compared to other exuberant, louder street style looks at the event, Eun Jung’s simple and pared-down look was refreshingly distinct.
