Last Friday (May 25, 2018), Hugo Boss held a celebratory event to mark the reopening of the brand’s new shop in Marina Bay Sands.
Attended by over 1,000 guests including VIPs from Hugo Boss, international celebrities as well as regional and local media and influencers, the event was led in by a fashion show showcasing the brand’s Fall/Winter 2018 Mens and Womenswear collection.
The show finale included the official launch of the video campaign starring Singapore darling (and new Hugo Boss ambassador) Joseph Schooling, who closed the show while leading all 45 models down the runway.
International model Park Soo Joo, and Hollywood heartthrobs Chris Hemsworth and Sebastian Stan were also present, decked up in sharp, stylish tailored numbers. Click through to see the best dressed celebs spotted at the grand event.
Seen here next to Ingo Wilts, Chief Brand Officer of Hugo Boss, Chris Hemsworth, Sebastian Stan and Singaporean Olympic gold medalist Joseph Schooling looked dapper in their tailored suits. Chris opted for a sharp indigo blue number with a crisp white shirt while his Avengers co-star Sebastian went for one in dark navy blue. Joseph chose a classic black suit with a matching tie.
Soo Joo Park donned an oversized white blazer jacket and matching tailored trousers, matched with a sleek ‘do. She rocked the look with a certain charm, defying the rules of masculine tailoring by adding her own sense of elegance into the look. The model also filled the airwaves with DJ sets during the after-party — seriously, can she get any cooler?
Band members from The Sam Willows got spruced up for the grand event in equally outstanding and classy looks. Sandra opted for a plush camo coat, an asymmetrical black mini dress and some edged-up combat boots. Then we have Benjamin leading the whimsical front with an eye-catching turquoise number with a tongue-in-cheek patterned polo peeking out from underneath. Jonathan chose to veer on the classic side of things with a black tailored suit and t-shirt underneath for a laidback touch.
Singaporean influencer Nellie Lim opted for a high-neck sweater dress with oversized check prints and killer knee-high boots in white. The fashion blogger, who had just recently tied the knot, looked absolutely radiant in the stylish ensemble. Oon Shu An looked elegant in a scoop neck frock with sporty pipings and details. Laced with electric blue and orange stripes, the classy number brought out the actress’s bubbly personality and was matched with a timeless pair of nude high heels.
Local model-turned-photographer Chuando Tan is not just any regular internet sensation, he’s also equally dashing and charming in real life. He opted for a pinstripe grey suit and black glossy trousers, finishing the look with oversized glasses and bow ties — an unconventional, yet spiffy ensemble.
Fiona Fussi looked ethereal in a flowing silver floor-length gown with a mesh-panelled neckline. A subtle and elegant choice, the graceful and fluid number was paired with a pair of black strappy heels and chunky leather bracelets — an unexpected pairing which, in our opinion, works.
