When we met Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young, we were completely in awe of the singer’s flawless complexion.v For someone who says that she hasn’t been sleeping much with her extremely busy schedule (the K-pop girl group made a recent comeback to celebrate their 15th anniversary), she looked fresh and radiant.
“I was one of the members who pushed for the comeback, and I was also one of the members who forced the label to give us a full album. And I’m so proud of that. I’m so glad I did that. Initially, they were like, ‘Maybe you guys should do a single.’ And I was like, Girls’ Generation fans want a full album. They deserve music,” says the 33-year-old.
Coincidentally, the tag line for Lancome’s Beauty Tech flagship event in August that Tiffany was in town for is “Strong is the new Young”.

It’s an apt description of the American-born star, as she spoke about how her beauty ideals have evolved, and how her experiences have made her a stronger person today.
“What would I say to 18-year-old Tiffany about beauty? I would say, ‘You have no idea what’s coming, girl. But changes are on the way, so be prepared for it’. More than that, I would tell her that beauty isn’t just one thing or category. Beauty is for everyone. And I would say this not only to young Tiffany, but to everyone.”
