The latest beauty products you should try in July

We rounded up the beauty launches of the month that we’re most excited about

New beauty products in July

As Singapore slowly re-opens businesses, more of us are going back to our offices (if that’s you, here are some work outfit ideas) and even if you’re still working from home, one thing’s for sure – we all have to mask up when we head out.

Taking care of our skin is very important if not you might run the risk having breakouts or mask-ne. Having good skincare habits like regular cleansing is still very important. That is why the new beauty products this month are perfect for your beauty needs. There are items like facial cleansers to try and a new eyeshadow (since you’re masking up, drawing attention to your eyes might be a good idea) that’s worth checking out.

These are the new beauty products we’re totally excited about.

Chanel Le Volume Stretch Extreme in Noir, $54
image

An update of Le Volume Revolution De Chanel, this new mascara features an even more innovative and high-tech brush that is made to elongate, add volume and define lashes. The new brush has a streamlined and curved design that makes it extremely precise with five branches of two rows of bristles made using 3D technology.

With its elastic shape memory, the mascara can bend and stretch in all directions but always returning to its original form. The size of the bristles can also adapt to the shape of the brush during application – the longer bristles at the centre grip and comb each lash, while the shorter bristles at the tips coat your lashes evenly.

Lancome Clarifique Pore Refining Cleansing Foam, $63
image

This purifying cleansing foam removes pollution, dirt, and other impurities without drying the skin. Its combination of beech bud extract and salicylic acid helps to refine the skin surface, and also purifies, visibly reduces the appearance of large pores, and hydrates for a smoother, clearer and more luminous complexion.

Miss Dior Scented Blooming Powder, $80
image

If you’re a fan of the fresh floral and sweet scent of the Miss Dior perfume, you’re going to love its newest iteration that comes in a powder form. It can be applied to the decolletage, shoulders and inner wrists, and imparts an iridescent glow to the skin. The slim and sleek packaging also means that this scented powder can be carried around for quick, fuss-free touch-ups.

Drunk Elephant E-Rase Milki Micellar Water, $40
image

This cleansing water features a milky texture and is formulated to gently, yet effectively, remove makeup, dirt, and bacteria without stripping off essential moisture and causing any irritation or sensitisation.

It contains vitamin E, ultra-mild micelles and antioxidant-rich plant oils such as wild melon seed and sweet almond to nourish, strengthen the skin’s barrier and retain moisture in the skin. The best part? It is formulated at a pH of 5.0 which is similar to that of the skin’s natural pH levels.

Clarins Lip Comfort Oil Intense, $36
image

The brand’s updated version of its iconic Lip Comfort Oil now comes in eight different shades of nudes, pinks and reds, and promises to give intense colour payoff while still lasting shine. It contains 100 per cent organic plant oils for soft, plump puckers and comfortable wear throughout the day. It also comes with a weightless, non-sticky formula that is enriched with an Anti-Pollution Complex to protect lips from the harmful effects of pollution.

Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in Desert Haze, $92
image

We love a versatile eyeshadow palette, and this one has all the shades you’ll need to create sultry, smokey eye makeup as well as a natural everyday look. Plus, the darker brown shades also double up as an eyeliner. Each shade boasts velvety textures that can blend easily onto the lids, give intense colour payoff with just one swipe and provide a soft-focus, airbrush effect.

Tom Ford Private Blend Soleil Neige Eau de Parfum, $499 for 100ml
image

This luxurious oriental floral scent now comes in two new sizes: 30ml and 100ml. It features top notes of bergamot and carrot seed, which pairs wonderfully with the sweeter floral middle notes of rose, jasmine, orange blossom and white flowers. The fragrance is then balanced out with base notes of vanilla and benzoin.

Est Lab Purclear Anti-Acne Serum, $152
image

This anti-acne serum is a standout as it is suitable even for those with sensitive and reactive skin thanks to its gentle, non-drying formula which is boosted with “time-released” salicylic acid to reduce the potential of irritation, especially on sensitive and fragile skin.

This “time-released” salicylic acid makes use of a Water Shuttle Technology, which is a delivery system that releases water capsules to keep skin hydrated for up to 12 hours. This means the skin, while being treated for acne symptoms, will remain moisturised. Tea tree oil is also infused into the formula to prevent acne formation, balance sebum secretion, and minimise the look of enlarged pores.
