The lowdown: The usual cleansing and skin-prepping steps aside, the star of this treatment is the high-powered Near Infrared (NIR) lamp, which emits light energy waves that heat skin’s deep tissue causing collagen fibres to contract and tighten so that skin is firmed and lifted, the appearance of pores is reduced, and skin texture sees a visible improvement.

What: Juvena MasterCaviar Facial, an indulgent facial that combines relaxing facials using crystal balls, and effective topical skincare formulations from Juvena, an anti-aging cosmetics brand from Switzerland.
The lowdown: After the usual cleansing and exfoliation, crystal ball massages are incorporated into this facial. They are made of quartz, which supposedly have soothing and calming benefits for skin. There’s a palm-sized smooth crystal piece and another in a pen-like form with a small rounded crystal tip to cater to different contours of the face for the most comfortable fit. Your skin is slathered with the brand’s luxurious serums and creams – boasting ingredients such as silk, minerals and trace elements – and a pure gold leaf is also massaged on to infuse into the skin. What: Thermage CPT with Total Tip, a non-invasive face lifting treatment using radiofrequency energy.
The lowdown: A Thermage treatment uses focused radiofrequency energy to stimulate the body’s own natural renewal process for a younger, more lifted appearance. This is one of the newest versions of the Thermage machine which uses gentle vibrations interspersed with a cooling sensation to lessen the discomfort from the radiofrequency heat. What: Skin Inc Oxy Miracle Peel, a 5-in-1 skin treat that clear dull dead skin and boosts skin’s energy and radiance.
The lowdown: To cleanse skin, the therapist launches into makeup removal, a facial wash and then the brand’s Oxy Miracle Peel which is applied onto skin, left on for a few minutes then cleaned off to gently exfoliate. Then a customised cocktail of serums and hydrating onsen water is infused into skin using a gentle stream of oxygen. This also brightens, refreshes and tightens skin immediately. What: Three Rhythm Spa Balancing Facial, a luxuriously relaxing traditional facial using Japanese techniques, organic essential oils and botanical ingredients to bring skin back to health.
The lowdown: The face, neck, shoulder and décolleté are gently cleansed and massaged with the brand’s balancing skincare.
