Editors’ Choice & Readers’ Choice: A’kin Sandalwood & Ylang Ylang Body Wash, $38.50
It cleanses well, leaving skin hydrated, soft and smooth. Just one pump is enough for the whole body, and it washes off easily. The calming, spa-like sandalwood and ylang-ylang scent had our tester using it frequently.
Editors’ Choice & Readers’ Choice: MTM Custom-blended Harmonious Body Moisturizer, $90
The formula includes amino acids and ceramides in a robust list of ingredients that add up to the product’s good moisturising ability. Skin is deeply nourished and hydrated all day. A plus: It has no added fragrance, which is helpful for those with skin or scent sensitivity.
Editors’ Choice: Bio-piel Petit Ato Body Lotion, $59.90
Skin feels softer and smoother after using this lotion, which has a relaxing lavender scent. And it doesn’t have a greasy after-feel even in Singapore’s humid weather. The best part: Our tester noticed that she had less bacne after using.
Readers’ Choice: Nivea Aloe & Hydration, $9.95
The moisturiser has a lightweight consistency and is absorbed reasonably well. Skin feels refreshed and plumped. It also has a pleasant scent.
Editors’ Choice: Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Fig Honey Drops Body Cream, $37
Has a thick texture but sinks into skin without making it feel sticky or greasy. Even after a long day in a very cold air-conditioned office, skin is still supple and soft.
Readers’ Choice: Fresh Black Tea Age-delay Body Cream, $109
Leaves dry elbows, legs and feet smooth and moisturised the entire day. It has a pleasant tea-like scent and gets absorbed into skin quickly. A useful addition for winter travel.
Editors’ Choice: Bema Nice Hands Bio Cream, $26
Rich enough for dry cuticles and the rest of your hands, it needs a minute to be absorbed. It has skin-repairing plant oils and a soft, lingering scent.
Readers’ Choice: Jurlique Rose Hand Cream, $74
The rose scent is a winner, as is the cream for not feeling oily or slick even though it’s quite rich. Dry, rough hands look pretty and soft.
