Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser, USD$39, available at GlowRecipe.com
Following the success of their crazy popular sleeping mask, Glow Recipe has released a moisturiser that is packed with the same antioxidant and amino acid-rich watermelon extracts that help to soothe and deeply nourish your skin. The gel-emulsion texture is also rich in plumping hyaluronic acid that leaves skin hydrated and “juicy” all day.
Promising review: I have been using the Watermelon Glow moisturiser for several weeks now, and I love it. I have mature skin but it still gets very oily so I have to be careful with using certain heavy moisturisers. This one just glides on with such a light texture, and leaves my face feeling so smooth and refreshed. Also, it allows my make-up to be applied without need of a primer. I use in the AM and PM, along with my Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask. My skin has improved so much in texture!

We highly recommend having a bottle on you at all times to combat everything from dry air-conditioned-to-death office air to muggy afternoons.
Promising review: Only regret with this product is that I should have ordered the larger bottle. The scent is amazing, a generous spritz helped smooth out the rough patches on my right cheek, and it’s creeping its way into Favorite Step status – no lie.

Promising review: The gentle peach creaminess of this mask belies a rather pleasing powerful skin smoothing effect, after 15 minutes my skin is joyously relieved of its redness and smooth as a babies **** – and any product which smells of geranium gets my vote!
Sand & Sky Purifying Pink Clay Mask, $69, available at sandandsky.com
Tapping into the powerful cleansing and detoxifying properties of Australian pink clay, this face mask does double duty of drawing out impurities such as toxins and pollutants from the environment, while unleashing your natural glow thanks to added Vitamin A. Promising review: After using this, I wondered why didn’t I try it earlier. There’s a difference between using this and not; as my face would be instantly brighter and looked more dewy and glow-y. It’s gives a light shimmer that isn’t really detectable, so it does not emphasise pores. After using this, I’ve had numerous compliments on how good my skin looked even though I was breaking out. Great product to have in your make up collection!
Origins Skin Pore Perfecting Cooler Primer, $58, available at all Origins counters.
Suitable for all skin types, this primer delivers a dose of ice-cold moisture to visibly minimise pores (perfect for our tropical weather) while priming your skin for the rest of your make up. The formula also helps to prevent dullness and discolouration thanks to its key ingredient, willowherb – the flower contains chemicals that inhibits protein change in our skin.
Promising review: I wasn’t too sure about this product at first, but I was quickly put at ease! First off, the cooling sensation is SO NEAT and…weird…BUT NEAT! Especially for living in Florida, I can already tell that this is legitimately going to be a godsend in the summertime! I also LOVE the smell! At first, I was unimpressed with the product- I had some minor redness, and I could plainly see my pores. However, after a few minutes, the redness went away, and my pores became less visible!
Pixi Beauty Rose Cream Cleanser, USD$18 available at Pixibeauty.com
Stop and literally smell the roses with this soothing cleanser that utilises the conditioning powers of rose, avocado, chamomile and aloe vera to strengthen and soften skin while thoroughly cleansing off accumulated dirt from a busy day. Suitable for even the most sensitive of skin types.
Promising review: I have oily skin and I’m very active, which means breakouts galore! I started using this cleanser as I’m a big believer in the properties of rose-anything in skincare, and it has made such a difference! In just 2 weeks, my breakouts have significantly reduced and my face is a lot less inflamed. Love!
L’Oreal Colourista Soft Pink Hair Dye, $14.90, available at Watsons
Thank you L’Oreal, for launching a range of semi-permanent hair colours that naturally include a soft pink that would make any millennial drool. The unique formula allows for the colour to gradually fade over 1-2 weeks while protecting your hair, meaning you can be as indecisive about your choice of colour as you are about what to order for brunch.
Promising review: It obviously works better on lightened hair, which I have, and I absolutely fell in love with the colour! Despite my hair being bleached from Asian-black to white blond (read: very damaged), the dye not only didn’t further damage my hair, but actually made it softer! I’m looking forward to trying out the other colours.
