I saw the ad on Instagram for these Flare Sleeep ear plugs and I was curious so I ordered them online and I am so glad I did! I’m a light sleeper who needs complete silence and darkness in order to get a good sleep. My husband wakes up earlier than I do and some noise is unavoidable. I’ve started using these 2 weeks ago and I don’t get bothered by the noise he makes every morning and I’m sooo going to replace them if I ever lose them (touch wood)!

I’m a huge believer of face rolling so this Skinceuticals face roller, which is a gift-with-purchase, is on my bedside table. I love my nine-step skincare regime (haha!) so I welcomed Elizabeth Arden’s Superstart Skin Renewal Booster into my routine after essence and before serums. The texture is light and absorbed by skin really quickly and I notice my subsequent products also sink in faster.

I think this Clarins Water Lip Stain is pretty revolutionary. Not only does the strong pigment last all day on my lips, I love how it doesn’t have the I’m-wearing-lipstick feeling. It’s super light and because it absorbs so quickly into my lips, the colour doesn’t get onto my teeth like it usually does when I wear conventional lipsticks.

My husband knows I’m a fragrance buff and that I’m very particular about the scents I use. My usual brands are Frederic Malle, Byredos, Diptyque, Jo Malone and Hermes so I was thoroughly impressed when he surprised me with a Penhaligon’s fragrance. It wasn’t a ’safe’ choice as I only have one other from the perfume house that I don’t even use that often and he even nailed it with the scent he chose—bergamot is one of my favourite smells and I love the additions of oak moss and patchouli in Belgravia Chypre.

This iconic Creme le La Mer is a classic because IT. WORKS. I only use it once or twice a week at night as a treat to my skin or on any part of my body that has just experienced an accidental burn. That was the origin of Creme de La Mer where its founder Max Huber created this cream to help with his own burns. I’ve used it four times specifically for burns in the last few years and there was a particularly bad incident when I had boiling water on my hand for quite a few seconds and the 50-cent-sized wound actually hurt for a few days. I religiously slathered Creme de La Mer on it everyday for two weeks and now, I don’t have any trace of scarring at all.

Sunday Riley’s Good Genes promises to make your skin look as if you’ve inherited good genes and it sure works from the first use. It has one of the highest concentrations of lactic acid in any skincare product in the market so overnight (you only use this at night), you can see your skin looking brighter, more even-toned and with less visible pores. But some skin types may be sensitive to the strong lactic acid so I recommend using it just two to three times a week.
