The latest reinstatement of Phase 2 (HA) is only bound to make the travel bug bite deeper. Thankfully, M.A.C Cosmetics has a remedy to quell our desire for travel: a limited-edition lipstick collection aptly named Wander.Lust.
Inspired by a journey across Asia, the bullet lipsticks reimagine nine best-selling shades by M.A.C and stored in specially-designed cases featuring the illustrations of emerging Filipina artist Raxenne Maniquiz (@raxenne).
Maniquiz, who has collaborated with the likes of Charles & Keith and Dr. Martens in the past, decorated the black lipstick cases with motifs of cultural icons and symbols associated with Asian cities like Singapore, Hanoi and Bali.
The Wander.Lust collection is already available for an early-bird purchase on LazMall. Shoppers can get 10 per cent off and receive this special branded collection box (pictured) with the purchase of any three lipsticks.
She describes working with M.A.C as “a dream come true.” She adds: “I got to draw inspiration from the places I love while adding my own style to these iconic lipsticks. It’s all been such a huge thrill.”
As for the lip shades in the range, M.A.C Cosmetics is bringing out everything from kiss-me reds to barely-there nudes for the outing, creating them in its Powder Kisss, Matte and Retro Matte formulas.

The colours include the red hue ‘Ruby Woo’ which is reminiscent of the vibrant colours of flower markets in Hanoi. There is also the peachy ‘Mull It Over’ which calls to mind the age-old tradition of kopitiams and affinity for coffee culture here in Singapore.
The collection is already available from LazMall and will drop at all M.A.C Cosmetics boutiques islandwide and on sephora.sg from July 22. Ready for a quick browse? Scroll down for more.
