At London Fashion Week, hairstylists pretty much went all out, creating some of the most interesting hairstyles we’ve seen so far.

At Ashish, hairstylist Sam McKnight wove shells and various bits of trinkets into teased hair to create an ultra-lived-in look meant to evoke images of forest fairies in the wild.

To create this textured, almost frizzy braid seen at Bora Aksu, hairstylist Tina Outen prepped models’ hair with a texture lotion and texture powder around the hairline. The result is a windswept braid that looks that you’ve been out and about in the elements.

Reminiscent of the Myspace bangs popular in the early aughts, this side-swept look has made a comeback thanks to Ports 1961 and Marques’Almeida. To create this look, work a dollop of styling cream into your bangs, create a deep side part, and then blow-dry it. Run a straightening iron through your hair for that extra bit of shine.
Trust Victoria Beckham to deliver a class act, in the form of polished, slicked back chignons. Use a shine spray to add gloss and shine to your hair.

Oh yes, the center part is back. Spotted at a handful of shows, including Erdem and Burberry, this look is basic but oh-so-chic. This look is best paired with sleek tresses, so get your finishing cream and frizz control products ready.

At Christopher Kane, hair was gelled back and pulled into low ponytails. The overall look is rather boyish and futuristic, and most importantly, super wearable in everyday life.

Erdem and Mark Fast models sported flawless, frizz-free braids that, frankly, wouldn’t look out of place in a schoolhouse. The look was created with hair oil to impart gloss and tame frizz. Use a hairdryer with a precision nozzle to get your hair super straight, and then braid it tightly. Finish with a strong-hold hairspray.
