Besides being an established K-pop star, Jessica Jung is also known for her love for all things fashion and beauty. In fact, she frequently gushes about her latest purchases and favourites on her YouTube channel, which has since amassed over 800k subscribers. In one of the videos, Jessica shared her perfume collection, which you can read about below:
An oriental floral fragrance balanced with fir and cedar, the fragrance changes with temperature. Jessica was first attracted to the bottle design and bought it in New York for Christmas one year, and now the perfume reminds Jessica of the trip every time she wears it.
This is a scent that Jessica has finished and has purchased several times. She particularly loves the delicate allure of the scent, which is dominated by musk, enriched with leather and suede and blended with rose and warm amber. Jessica also stated that it reminds her of clean, comfortable white towels.
This perfume was created by Pierre Bourdon, one of the top 10 performers in the world. Soft and clean powdery iris gives it a demure feel while tonka beans, musk and vanilla add warmth and sensuality. Jessica added that this is a scent that “attracts men”.
This is a scent that many people would know of. It is made with pink pepper, Turkish rose, white amber and more inspired by the field nurses of World War One. On first spray, the perfume has a slight rose scent but it grows to become more obvious with time, revealing strength in gentleness.
The sweet and gentle mix of peony and musk is a classic Jo Malone London scent and one of Jessica’s favourites. The top notes are fresh red apple, the middle notes are peony, jasmine, carnation and rose while the base note is suede. This is especially recommended for ladies who like floral fragrances.
If you’re looking for a young, feminine scent, the Chanel Chance range won’t steer you wrong. The fruity top notes consist of grapefruit and pear, the floral middle notes are jasmine and orange blossom while the anchoring base notes are musk and cedar.
Jessica has two bottles of this perfume in her collection. She shared that this is the muskiest scent in her collection and added that she loves all kinds of musky fragrances. Do Son takes the name of the place in Vietnam where the perfumer once lived. Iris and musk give the fragrance a sense of opulence and elegance while gardenia, orange blossom and freesia are reminiscent of a summer evening.
This perfume contains notes of iris, citrus, daffodils and magnolia. For someone who likes fresh scents, Jessica shared that this was actually a gift she had received. Rather than using it on herself, she prefers people around her to use it or be sprayed in the room.
