There’s nothing quite like walking through a department store’s Beauty Hall – with every turn, a new skincare cream, lotion, essence or balm to try. Or a carousel of colours for the face, eyes, cheeks and lips. Every time you visit, it seems like you walk out with a newer 2.0 version of you.
This was exactly what BHG had in mind when it reimagined its beauty floor at the flagship BHG Bugis store. The upgrades recreate an experience that is sensorially rich, while keeping safe distancing, health and hygiene at the top of mind.
The floor houses almost twice its original 48 brands – there’s now a whopping 94 beauty brands in its sprawling 13,000 square feet space, including 12 international names. You can also expect a world of “firsts” in never-seen-before interactive beauty experiences. Imagine virtual sampling and algorithms for your face creams.
What’s New: Beauty Library

Within the Beauty Hall itself sits a newly carved out space – the first for a Beauty Hall in Singapore. Called Beauty Library, it features 20 nature-inspired labels, including 14 BHG-exclusive brands, to cater to the eco- and additive-conscious.
Another first: Look out for the Lift and Learn digital wall at Beauty Library, which allows customers to discover a thematic selection of products. All you need to do is lift the product from the stand for information about it to appear on the screen. And as this is the Beauty Hall of the future, customers can even scan a QR code that will take them to complete their payments online.
Ever adaptive, BHG’s Beauty Hall makes cashless payments a breeze with its mobile payment systems across the floor – there’s no need to queue up for your turn to pay. Just look for the roving cashier with a tablet-like device strapped across her body, whip out your credit card, and pay. A receipt will immediately be e-mailed to you, as proof of purchase. BHG has also partnered with Hoolah, allowing budget-friendly options over three months, interest-free.
