Beauty fun fact “Even though my personality is super extra, I’m obsessed with the no makeup, makeup look and minimal Korean eye makeup.”

Beauty mantra “Don’t follow trends, they’ll always die down. Follow your heart.”

Beauty tip “Many people neglect their hands but they actually give away your age. This is why I always have a hand cream with me.”

Favourite beauty memory Trying different shades of lipstick with my sister while we were teenagers and using our mum’s makeup without her knowledge!

Favourite beauty memory “When I discovered that my daughter was emulating my skincare routine. A few months back, I found her fiddling with my sunscreen and trying to apply it on herself. It was very heartening to see that my habits have rubbed off on her.”

Beauty tip “Be patient. Allow at least 6-8 weeks to see a visible difference in your skin when using skincare. If you want an overnight improvement, you might have better luck using a beauty filter.”

Beauty mantra “Makeup can enhance your beauty, but your inner beauty defines who you are as a true and authentic individual.”

Beauty fun fact “When I can’t get the right blush colour on my clients, I’ll use a combination of lipsticks and concealer to create blush shades that work for their skin tones.  I love breaking rules and going against what a product says it can do. Really teaches you that makeup has no rules.”

Favourite beauty memory “ I have many but doing my mum’s makeup for the first time after three years of not meeting her was truly so humbling and made it all come full circle!”

Beauty mantra “Beauty is feeling good about myself physically and mentally! Physically would mean to sleep well, mask, and do my makeup and hair however I feel like. And what helps me mentally is to remember to find moments to pause, keep active and surround myself with good (and funny) people. Embrace those laugh lines!”

Beauty fun fact “My mom signed me up for a beauty pageant as a child and I remember winning “Little Miss Photogenic” as a six-year-old so that was pretty iconic and probably how I got the (false) confidence to call myself “Singapore’s TOP Everything” as an adult.”

Beauty tip “Less is more, especially in Singapore’s hot and humid weather.”

Beauty tip “Because of my sinus, my under-eye area can get pretty dark. But guess what? I realised that using an ice roller and black coffee can help reduce their appearance.”
