BEAUTY HACK “Face moisturisers and serums can double as eye creams.”
BEAUTY HACK “For a gentle home-based facial peel, I apply a thin layer of AHA on my entire face before bath time, and wash it off when in the shower.”

BEAUTY HACK “To tame stray strands, a little blob of hand cream works like a charm. Just apply the cream on hands, rub all over as you usually do, then grab your hair and run your hands through to defrizz.”
BEAUTY MISHAP “Wearing dark lip liner with nude lipstick in the ‘90s. I still cringe when I think about it.”
BEAUTY MISHAP “When I was younger, I would always apply concealers that were too light/ bright for my skin tone, and always wondered why I looked so funny on camera. And sadly, no one told me about it.”
BEAUTY HACK “The anti-bloater in one minute! If you have no time to guasha your face and you’re bloated, rolling a piece of ice all over your face does the trick. Massage gently with a warm towel after.”
BEAUTY MISHAP “I once read somewhere that Jennifer Aniston used mayonnaise to condition her hair for a beautiful glow. I tried it and regretted it – the oil stayed on my hair for two weeks and wouldn’t go away!”
BEAUTY HACK “Too much salt causes puffiness in the eyes or face. If you’ve had a super salty or MSG-laden meal, have one or two bananas before going to bed. The potassium will help balance everything out in the morning.”
BEAUTY HACK “To reduce redness and puffiness in the morning, press firmly on the orbital bone with your fingers, moving from the inner corners of the eyes to the outer, and then along your jawline, from the chin upwards. Repeat this a few times. Finish by rinsing with cold water.”
BEAUTY MISHAP “Filling in my brows with a ruler to achieve straight brows! Lesson learnt: Don’t follow trends when it comes to your brows. Work with what you’ve got, not against it.”
